Achieving the Effect of Natural Daylight in Basement Interiors

The challenge: introduce the appearance of natural light in a high-end London basement flat with no
direct sunlight. The solution: bespoke LED ceiling panels, engineered to emulate skylights and
create the visual and emotional effect of daylight. Each LED panel was designed and manufactured to the
project’s precise architectural dimensions, ensuring a seamless installation and natural-looking light distribution.

Custom LED Skylights: Integrated Design for Enhanced Spatial Impact

The installation featured eight custom-built LED skylight panels, seamlessly integrated into the
ceiling structure. To accommodate this, the ceiling was stripped back to the structural joists, providing
a clean, stable foundation for the recessed LED panels. This minimalist, frameless approach enhanced the illusion
of architectural skylights, contributing to a heightened sense of openness and vertical volume.

Controllable, High-Output LED Lighting for Interior Precision
