MEGALED design and supply a variety of LED Bars, Flexible LED Strips
and LED Modules which are mainly used for architectural accent lighting,
interior display lighting and when suitably IP protected also for exterior
lighting. MEGALED have an exciting new range of LED bar products
which are also encapsulated and IP65..IP68 rated. We also offer a
full "LED potting service" whereby we can house any LED in a resin
casing, a casing which can actually be 3D shaped by our very unique
CNC engineering capability.
MEGALEDs top selling LED bars are sold wholseale by the metre in rigid
or flexible LED bar format with a minimum of 10, 25 and 50metres being
standard. We also have a full range of ex stock LED Bar products which
can be retailed and populated by us to order, these products are
sold in much lower volumes e.g. by the metre.
Most of our LED Bars are designed to operate at 12VDC, typically with 3 LEDs
per segment - because we find this gives the specifyer/installer or light designer
the most design flexibility for evenly illuminating contours, ceilings, under cabinets;
in an optimum edge-to-edge manner (with no dark spots).

LED BAR FLEX AVAILABLE:
MEGALED has not only finalised the design of a superwarm(tm) flexible
LED bar, We now have some excess BARGAIN/CLEARANCE stock which
is from left over from our customers lighting installation.
This super-warm white strip is sold in 400mm segments. It gives the warmest
tungsten-style light around with LEDs (<3000kelvin colour temp). This product
was engineered by us to order and used to illuminate "a very famous persons"
appartment in London recently to great effect.
IMPORTANT: This LED bar is no comparison to normal "warm white" or an rgb-mixed
"warm white". It is indeed much nicer, a VERY NICE warm white, not available
ex-stock anywhere else.

LED Bar information, service & installation ideas:
All our LED Bars are produced using Rohs compliant components and materials.
All are SELV, very low voltage and most are designed to operate at 12VDC.
Our LED bars are typically powered direct via a Switch Mode power supply or
indirectly via a MEGALED Voltage dimmer.
Installers purchasing and working with our LED Bars should follow MEGALEDs design
advice (provided free of charge over the phone if required).
Installers should ensure maximum lengths of " LED Bar runs " are not exceeded
and that cable types and interconnects are done properly - we will explain
all and can supply additional componetry to make your installation
as rapid and reliable as possible.
MEGALED provide full installation support and guidelines to its customers
and will help with the selection of the proper hardware components including
power supplies and/or dimmers (DMX or Hardware driven).
The two ways to specify drive/dim power LED bars:
- LED Bars can be powered up and not dimmed.
or
- LED Bars can be dimmed via a LED Controller.

- If opting to power your LED bars and not dim them (1)
a MEGALED dimmer-driver is not required. However, we usually supply
our most discerning customers with an industrial-style, constant voltage
SWITCH MODE power-supplies (PSU's). All such PSU's feature a regualting
voltage output, which will give you about 15% control/dimming
- so this is a basic way to get pre-set dimming control at very low cost.
- If opting to properly dim or animate your LED bars (monocromatic, rgb or
mixed colour). We offer a huge array of solutions from 0-10V, 100K pot,
PWM and DMX-Activated hardware. Depending on your requirements
and LED Bar application we can provide impartial advise on which controller
is best suited for your project.
